Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is a Hollywood actor and writer who's talent has brought her recognition as well as critical praise. She's the daughter of a Sagittarius born on December 3 1960 in North Carolina. She's the third oldest siblings who were born to Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper, and Anne psychologist. She's English as well as Scottish. Moore's father was a mover often due to his job. It was hard for her to find and keep friendships. Moore's family relocated from the United States to Germany and she was a student at Frankfurt American High School, where her first acting opportunities were on stage in plays. She continued her education at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with B.F.A. thesis in Theater. Following graduation, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. In 1985 Moore made her screen debut in the episode The Edge of Night. In 1986, she played the dual characters of Sabrina Hughes (Frannnie) and Frannie Hughes (Sabrina Hughes). It was her biggest break. In 1988, she played an actress on the series and was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made her debut on the screen through Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions by Altman (1997) included among her movies. The critically acclaimed performance of her in short-cuts (1993) brought her a number of nominations. Moore played her first big part in Safe in 1995, a movie. Steven Spielberg gave Moore her first lead role in the film Safe (1995). The year 1997 was when her career as this actress reached a pivotal moment. Moore was chosen in the role of Jurassic Park: The Lost World. This movie became one of the most popular films in 1997. She starred in Magnolia (1999) and was praised by critics which earned her an SAG nomination for her performance. The Hours was her co-starring role in 2002, and it won nine Academy Awards nominations with Nicole Kidman. Additional films Moore has appeared in include The Forgotten (2004) Freedomland (2006) Shelter (2010) etc. Moore was a part of Non-Stop (2014). Moore has appeared on countless films and television shows. She has a starring role in the most recent one, which is When You Finish Saving the World (2022). She has established her career in Hollywood in addition to being a successful children's book author. In 2007 she released Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became the N.Y.T. Bestseller. It was later transformed into a TV series and music. In 2013, she released the book, My Mom is A Foreigner. Moore is known as a renowned actor and a novelist. She was a bridesmaid to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. Bart Freundlich has given her two kids. Moore later got married to him in 2003. Moore's world revolves around her friends, career and family.
